Fundraiser For Turkey and Syria

The devastation of the recent earthquakes in Turkey and Syria are hard to comprehend. So many lives have been lost and there is so much work to be done. I am sure many of you may know people who have been affected by these events and I myself have maternal grandparents who came to the US from Allepo, Syria. It is hard to know what to do to help but many of us feel the need to contribute.

Starting on Wednesday, February 22nd and continuing until further notice, we will be selling kits for the Show Off Chevron Cowl. All profits from the sale of these kits will be donated to to a charity that is supporting relief efforts in the region. The kit will consist of a skein of Urth Yarns Uneek DK self striping merino wool and a pattern for the cowl. You may choose any color available. The kit will cost $30.00. You may select as many as you like and we have other yarns available. For our crocheters we have found a pattern that will make up with one skein. Any donation above and beyond the cost of the kit will be gladly accepted.

Please dig deep into your heart and your pocket to help the survivors of this terrible event have access to life saving food, water and medical attention. You will feel so good after you have participated in this event and have a beautiful project to boot. Thank you so much.
