While this fingering weight yarn makes great socks, there are many patterns in the newer Noro books that use this yarn for vests and sweaters with stunning results. Each 100 gram ball has 462 yards. Gauge is 30 st = 4 inches using a US size 1.5 - 3 needle. The fiber content is 70% wool and 30% nylon. Handwash and dry flat.
